The Pettit National Ice Center is one of Milwaukee's real treasures. Problem was, it was being forgotten among the added attractions in the area. To help remind people of this gem in our own backyard, we did a two part outdoor series to remind people of all the benefits of ice. And second, that skating is an easy thing to do and enjoy. Not to mention, one of the few activities in Milwaukee you don't need to be drunk to fall on your ass.
Side note: We had a version that read, 'Without Ice, Titanic would have been a boring movie.' We thought it was great. One passerby didn't and emailed the Petit to call it, "Tasteless" and "Shameful." So, they had to take it down.
